Anymore Goers?

Cant wait for my Redang trip in 3 weeks' time!! *excited*

planned wif huat, frank, jolene n joanne 2 mths ago...wif lots of voting n discussion, we decided to go for a sunny holiday!

We had e options of Taipei, Vietnam, Koh Samui n Redang...n aft voting, e result was to go vietnam....but as i was e ONLY ONE planning n i havent been to vietnam b4 n no one to help me wif it, we decided to go for e 2nd option - Redang instead. =)

I went just last yr (2nd May) wif casin n jf.....but me n mit missed n like e place so much tt we dun mind gg again, given e fact tt there's actually nothing much to do except for snorkeling, sun bathing, drinking e cooling coconut n e sumptuous buffet meals.

However, as of today, frank, huat n joanne backed out....reasons being tt, me n frank had some issues wif work where we cant take leave together, huat has got a MP visit on tt weekend n joanne is very bz at work bcos of e swine flu....

(was quite pissed off n upset bcos of e back-outs...its nt easy to organise things u know...haiz)

BUT we still has 10 pple going!!! hahaha

Jolene initially wanted to back out bcos of her father's health, but thank god, he is feeling better now, so jolene agreed to go ahead as planned. and she even managed to jio her cousin along during their visit of her father at e hospital.

e 2 last min cnfm pple, ken n darren, were super on! they were being informed just today!

not forgetting justin....he cnfm his attendance juz 15mins after mit asked him last week.

wahahahah....i am happy...very happy (^.^)

The Big White Dog - Luki

Mit has been toking abt his customer's dog since e 1st time he saw him....
so we decided to visit his customer...

mit has showed me e foto n i knew it is a big dog....so i cant help but to b a little scared...

Upon rchin at the 3-storey semi-detached's gate....i saw a big white dog running out to "greet" us n when mit called out his name....he whined....awwwwww

He is a 2-year old Samoyed...called "Luki"

He is so friendly n harmless tt i wasnt afraid of him anymore juz 5mins after i stepped in.
we played wif him wif his treats n he showed us his tricks....

n he stood at my height!!!

the owner was so kind tt she asked us to walk her dogs on our own....

gosh....he's so active n energetic tt he practically pulled us along...

had a great time wif him n i would love to visit him again!




Luki pulling Mit

Dblo - our growing grp!

Casin, me n mit planned for a 3-person party at Dblo on sat.
me n Dada will wait at Dblo for casin who will send jf to the airport b4 joining us.

while preparing, i received a call frm jeffrey (my pri sch fren)...
jeff: "liqi...u know who am i?"
me: "fei hui...jeffrey la!"
jeff: "my voice so easy to regconise meh?"
me: "i know u for 19yrs liao leh...wats up?"
jeff: "r u gg dblo? i juz received a sms frm dblo regarding e free entry b4 10pm so i thot of u"
(apparently all my frens know tt i frequent dblo)
me: "hahaha...ya...n i am preparing now. join us la! im gg wif mit n casin...casin's bf is leaving for US soon for work so he wun b joining us"
jeff: "hmm....great! i'll c u guys later wif my fren"

so the grp grew frm 3 to 5.....

due to the abrasion under my left eye, i took longer time den usual to put on my make-up....n also bcos of e fake eyelash la...
left e hse at 942pm.....oh no....hw to rch by 10pm???
(wif ger's card oso need to rch by 10pm for e free entry)

ran down to flag a super-cab.....n god!! e uncle was fast!!! travelling at 110-120km/hr thru out!
hahaha...me n Dada managed to rch e doorstep of dblo at 10pm sharp!! *phew...otherwise we got to pay $35 to get e both of us in*

during e journey, i jio-ed my bro to join us too....so it grew frm 5 to 6....

while waiting for casin...me n dada had 4 tequila shots n ordered 3 jugs...

@ 11+pm...got a sms frm kelvin, asking where am i....i tink he guessed tt i shld b clubbing hehe
told him tt im at my fav place n asked if he wan to join us....
as he was already outside for a wedding dinner....he decided to join us!

so in e end we had a grp of 7!!
had abt 11 jugs (1 compliment jug frm ruben e waiter n i accidentally poured 1/2 jug on jeff) n 11 tequila shots (i "accidentally" poured 1 shot onto e floor").

although e retro sux tt nite....but we all had our fun!!

Disfigured

Had a very busy day at work on Fri...so decided to pamper myself wif a facial aft work

went HQ to do submission den went to a saloon nearby for my facial: "diamond peel" where they used a machine to suck out all dead skin, black n white heads....and also to lighten pigmentation...

as the beautician said my dark circles n feckless needed attention, she concentrated e "peeling" under my eye area....but she was focusing too much on e same area tt my left cheek area had some abrasion...=(

she den continued wif "extraction" which is the part i hated most bcos of all e squeezing, my face would normally turn red wif sore-ness. i tolerated e pain n she managed to remove the irritating "you pao" on my right eye lid!

followed by the very-good-relaxing cooling mask where i fell aslp during the 30-min...

as usual the consultant will psycho u into signing their package...but i made use of e fact tt my face is suffering frm e abrasion, i said im not satisfied so i am not signing anything! wahaha

(poor Dada waited for 2hrs)

went back home n watched channel 8's ping pong show b4 heading to casin's hse for MJ!!

Had another session of time-wasting mj wif jf/casin, mit n casin's mum...where me n aunty had a draw game n casin lost $8 to mit....

spent e nite over at casin's place as we ended e mj ard 6+am n i had to work at 1230pm....got to catch some beauty slp....

woke up at ard 1140am....washed up....n aunty made me 2 slices of ai-xin kaya-butter bread put in a zip-lock bag for me to eat in the car =) thax aunty!
e last time my mama made bfast for me was years back.....

Dada rushed me to bt timah (southaven II) to help out at an AGM (foto will b up tmr) den he went back my home to slp again....

was supposed to go east coast (summit) for another agm de...but made a switch wif william
hehe southaven II ended at abt 515pm....n summit ended at abt 7+pm...hehe
so sorry william =P n thax alot!!

Sweet Lunch

Had lunch wif Dada with Casin juz a moment ago.

And we had this conversation in the car:
when we were on e way to fetch casin, we heard the song "Mei Ren Yu - by Xu Ruo Xuan" and the DJ mentioned tt He Ren Dong (or is it Feng De Lun??) is Vivian's bf....
after casin boarded e car....

mit: "casin, u know who is Xu Ruo Xuan's bf?"
casin: "no.....who?"

mit: "me lor!"
casin : *roll eyes* (i guessed she did tt cos i couldnt c her frm e front)
me: "oh! i didnt know im as pretty as xu ruo xuan!"
all: "hahahaha"

We went to somewhere near Paya Lebar for vegetarian food...
den to Shell petrol station for BEN & JERRY!!

although not at some shopping centre, sitting down enjoying the ice cream....but im contented (^.^)

Handicapped...

Due to my own stupidity....i am without hp for the night

My keys to the office, toilet and petty cash box are chained together in a doraemon keychain...
but somehow, duno y, i left them in my bag e whole of today...
as the key press is just beside my office door, i would jus take e toilet key on the way out n head straight to it...

At 6.30pm, both my staffs had already left the office while i waited for Dada to fetch me....
i was alrdy preparing to pack up when i needed the toilet....so i did the same thing as wat i mentioned n went for a relieved...
but I AM NOT RELIEF when i stood outside my office door....realising that my office key is locked inside!!!

Yes!! My bag, wallet, hse keys n HP are inside too!!!
*argh* (angry wif myself)

Jf and Joanne were pushing me here n there wif their butts....while i was trying to "siam" them....joanne bumped into me n i went straight to the table.....

After almost 1 hr....i finally managed to get the things n pple i love up onto my blog....

it may seems easy....but for a IT idiot like me, it's so tedious!!

As this pc has limited fotos, i had to browse facebook n friendster to selected the fotos...
ive to arrange them, resize them, lots of copy n paste, cut n paste...

1. Search and choose pictures of brownie, bowling, karaoke n MJ from the internet


2. Browse and select fotos of my love ones frm pc, fb n friendster


3. open a Microsoft Words file and added text box to paste e fotos


4. copy n paste the pictures + fotos into e text box


5. resize all of them to fit nicely (as there r too many fotos, i added 2 text boxes)


6. den copy e text box into "Paint"


7. did some editing to e edges


8. save a copy into my pc


9. den upload onto my blog

What made it so difficult was bcos
I DID NOT UNCHECK "SHRINK TO FIT"!!
argh all my fotos turned out so mini...so i thot we can only upload fotos to fit tt only size, so i went to do the resizing again and seperated the fotos into 5 text boxes.
When i was halfway done wif the uploading, then realised i could haf juz unchecked the stupid box to get the whole foto in!!!

So that's it.....done....after so much wasted effort

Busy Morning

I am having a meeting this Thurs and I was too lazy to finish up my Minutes of Meeting yesterday bcos of e bluey mood.
So this morning, i was so so so so so soooo busy rushing for the minutes to be out as well as the other documents needed for the meeting for my boss' vetting.

and i managed to send them all out before lunch (however i do not know wat time my boss go out for his lunch)
His vetting has all along been fast (very fast) so hopefully i will b able to circulate out to the attendees by today.

Dada wanted to meet me for lunch, but i was too held up at work so i told him i'll skip lunch.

SMS received 20mins aft we hung up...

"Delivery in 15mins."

and i smiled. (^-^)

so here i am...having the curry rice wif drumstick n lots of potatoes which dada queued up for and bundung drink dada bought for me.

but im wondering....can bundung mix wif curry?? will i get diarrhea later?? @.@

i dun wana go home...

I DREAD MONDAYS!!

bcos it's a very routine day for me....n i hate routines!!
(partly bcos im a gemini n i like varieties) especially it's a day after weekend...

My parents started engaging a part-time maid to help out wif hsework abt 4-5yrs ago...
she will come by every tuesday....to help lighten e hsework load frm e lazy Sister n Brother Sim.

my mummy will wash e clothes every sunday, so tt they will b ready for aunty's ironing
n i need to wash mine every monday, so tt aunty can iron mine too...
i haf to change my chinchillas (hamham n muimui) bedding, so tt e area can be cleaned by aunty
the above mentioned, will take me 3hrs already...=(
got to tidy up my tables too so tt aunty can clean them w/o messing up my things

I've got an extra task today....
to grind pineapples for my parents' satay gravy....another 30-40mins gone
haiz....

can an angel do all these for me pls~~~*whine*

im leaving for home in another 30mins...=(

Lazy Sunday

With all e drinking e night b4...n e Super Duper hot n stuffy weather...it made me so lazy n restless.....

woke up at ard 2+pm....
found a blue-black on my thigh n 1 on my arm...."courtesy" of crazy dblo night....
went lunch wif my parents n mit at a teochew restaurant @ bt batok....n we insisted that we wan indoor seats for e air-con....

papa ordered their signature fried mian xian - $12
mama had fish porridge - $4
mit had kway chap (w/o internal organs) - $8
i ordered my favourite kway chap set!! - $4.20
Dessert - fried yam coated wif sugar - $12
n a bowl of yam paste wif ginko seeds ($2.50) for me!!
their desserts r delicious!

papa's mian xian was supposed to b for 2 pax....so me n mit had to help out
mama ordered another bowl of kway to help me finish my food...

suddenly missed my ah-kor....
used to frequent tt place for our kway chap (at least once every 2 weeks)....we would order a set for 2 pax, n he'll let me haf e peanuts...
for supper, we would jus order a set for 1 pax n an extra kway to share....
i wan to meet him soon....

so we waited again...

another 40mins passed...
i msg casin...

she replied "Cte. reach in 13min. you?"

omg...thot they were supposed to inform us when they're leaving so tt we can leave at e same time??

i immediately off e tv n rushed mit to get prepared n leave e hse....cos i dun wan to waste my sunday sitting at home watching tv
den....my tummy hurt.....
must b bcos of e burger (frm 7-eleven) i took ytd!
blamed it on myself....cos i finished e whole burger even though i found e center of burger fridge-like cold....was too lazy to warm it up again....=(

im nt saying mit's mum doesnt cook....but i reali hope she can cook something more "facinating", "appealing" n something new.
i wanted so much to tell mit...but he may tink tt i always hiam his mum....

anyway, e day ended wif a sweaty n sticky mj session....

jf finally finished his exams....
And we went to my lao di fang wif mit, jf, casin, joanne, justin n ivory....
it was fun n crazy man! =D

casin did e calculation, n we had 14 jugs of henessy green tea n 14 tequila shots!!
not really alot for e 7 of us.....but it was enuf to get us high n crazy!!

Aft e 1st tequila shot, me n joanne went 7-eleven to grab our late dinner b4 having more drinks
while we were away, e 5 of em were playing 5-10 n heard tt mit was e "bah kah" lol

After 30mins of gaming......RETROZ is here!!
by then, most of us were already warmed-up enuf to dance =)

casin n myself were teaching joanne hw to dance retro....
mit n jf were tryin to follow us n danced like monkeys...=x
justin was coming up wif funny moves to imitate us...

After e retro period...we continued wif our 5-10, direction, long xia - da bian (lobster - shit), n hand slapping game....
i made justin "eat" alot of da bian!! lol

oh....while e guys were away, a grp of boys beside us were trying to learn our retro moves...
n they treated us wif some drinks n ended up taking fotos.....hopefully i wun look ugly =P
when jf is finally back, casin said "my xing xiong is back!"
i told her..."my gou xiong is missing...."
As usual, mit is always not at our table most of e time, but we had our fun w/o him...wahaha

We left at ard 3.30am....
n i concussed once i rch home, w/o bathing....hehehe

Dragged myself out of Mit's bed at 1130am.....reason being that we slpt at 6am!!

Due to our time-wasting Mj session on Fri nite...

both me n mit had a draw game...n jf lost to casin...

Was quite pissed wif mit bcos he was supposed to attend his cousin's funeral (last day) at 11+am wif his mum....but apparently (as usual) his plan failed again, as he forgot to inform his mum tt he needs to send me to my co. Team Building at 1230pm.

His mum came into e room n shouted at him for being irresponsible by slping so late which caused him to overslp....n needless to say, that shouting n nagging woke me up...

Wat pissed me off was, he told his mum "I need to send Liqi to work at 1230....."

n his mum said "ask her drive there herself.....u take bus wif me to hougang"

wa lao eh.....how can he say tt??! wat will his mum tink of me?!?

"cant she go herself?"

"y she needs my son to send her there when she know how to drive?"

"she shld know tt he needs to attend funeral, n shld b sensible enuf to go herself"

In e 1st place, i dun even know he arranged to go wif his mum....

n 2ndly, I reminded him to plan his route for sat....if nt possible to send me there, i can drive there myself...

argh!! *angry*

Reached Sebawang for co. Team Building Day at 1230pm....dressed in my ah-dang white polo-t!

The dress code for tt event was white or black....

n my BU head chose white, was actually hoping tt he'll choose black, cos my wardrobe has got limited white tops! haha

Jolene wore black bcos she "wasn't" informed.....hahah but anyway i tink nobody cared =P

Team Building this yr was kinda boring as compared to last yr's....

we were divided into grps and given the following:

- 2 packets of those ballon sticks

- 1 packet of drinking straws

- 1 packet of wire-tie

- a bunch of rubber bands

- newspaper

- masking tape n scotch tape

- scissors

- 1 tennis ball

n were asked to make our own "roller coaster"....

this was wat we came up wif....

Kinda interesting....

this taught us team work...

you may not b the leader of e grp, but your suggestion does help....

Leaders not necessary have or give e best idea.....we need e team to put our heads together to solve any problem....

and you'll b surprise tt, there's actually lots n lots of ways to solve 1 problem which u thought it's almost impossible to solve...

In a team, everyone is important...and everyone plays a part otherwise it will not b called a "team"

it was a very slow n boring day for me...
boss on MC for more than a week...so many issues pending his approval / comments....

The last time i had a blog was like....6yrs ago?? n tt blog only lasted for 4mths...heez...

I went to browse at my previous blog...n it brought back alot of beautiful memories....
that was wat inspired me to start a fresh blog again...so that i can keep my "life" here for browsing many yrs down e road =D

Day 1

I had craving for Ben & Jerry ice cream...would love to try their new flavour - Macadamia Chocolate!

Sms dada n told him abt my craving...but there was no reply *sad*
He fetched me frm work as usual n brought me to dinner....@ Vivo!! (jumping wif joy) he's bringing me to Ben & Jerry!*

Went walked ard...window shopping...den had our dinner at Kim Gary....
argh....i was tooooo full to haf my ice cream..... :_(
So we decided to go back another day....

Day 2

Met casin n dan!! kinda miss em...bcos of dan's exam, e 4 of us havent been meeting up for almost 2mths....miss our MJ, Dblo, KTV and hanging out sessions....

Casin n I arranged to meet @ Cine for our dinner n movie...but somehow, e 2 guys made their own arrangement too...to meet @ PS for dinner den to The Cathay for movie....me n casin found e arrangement weird but we still went ahead....

Dada parked e car @ The Cathay as we wanted to buy e tix 1st....i was still quite pissed with e arrangement bcos we could haf "settle" everything @ cine n casin could haf her b-wax done.
As we stepped into e shopping mall frm e carpark.....i saw Ben & Jerry.....(guilty)

Aft we got e tix....went over to PS to meet Dan n Casin for dinner.

We were Q-ing outside Manhattan Fish Market when Dan saw a very nicely decorated shop right opposite and suggested that we could haf our dinner there to avoid Q-ing.
2nd look.....it was a foot reflexology shop!! wahahaha

I was again tooooo full to haf my Ben & Jerry....so e girls went shopping n e boys went to browse figurines.
Bought a very-me purple polka dot dress and casin bought 2 cardigens...all frm Cotton On...
ooo...e material is so comfy n soft....

Den we headed to The Cathay for our movie....Fast and Furious 4!! *nice show....nice male leading (i love his shows!) hehe*
i do agree with casin....he looks like Ami frm Miami Ink!

I went home without ice cream again......

Day 3

Went back PS with Dada bcos he didnt haf enuf time to buy e figurines.....

*evil grin*
i must haf my Ben & Jerry today!!

But......
Dada took 1.5hrs to shop for his figurines!
Had our dinner at 8.35pm....gobbled up my food (pple who know me, will know tt i eat very slow)....by e time i finished...9pm le.....*cry* shop closing le........
..........we missed it again.......

I GIVE UP!!

shall just get a mini tub frm petrol station n enjoy it infront of my tv....
