quality time wif dada

its been so long since me n dada went "pat tor" like any other couples....shopping, dinner, movie...

since i have $110 robinson's vouchers and $10 macdonald's vouchers (bday presents)...we went hereen for mac late-lunch....n went robinson at ctr pt for shopping....(to save cash but we still get to enjoy)

didnt find anything i like...no renoma bags...no hats (for da's bday party)...so asked da to choose a set of cufflinks, bcos he lost his fav pair at 1 of our clubbing session.

so spent $50 vouchers + $8.50 cash for dada's bday present hehehehe =P

went herren n cine to search for julan's bday gift....but aft some discussion wif richel, we decided to get something for her which richel will need to go n buy (cant reveal yet....cos i know YOU r reading hahaha)

finally managed to catch "night at e museum 2"!

very funny n interesting story...i like "able" e space monkey! lol

aft tt went river valley n bought supper back home....

e crowd was e best among all e fleas ive been to....but since most r filipino

maids, they do nt haf much spending power...n they love to bargain at ridiculous price!

haha...but it was fun! n i earned some extra cash hehe

when u need to take orders frm customers reali fast....u got to write in short forms
and my parents must b able to understand....meaning no english

standard ones like:
chicken chop = 鸡
pork chop = 猪
lamb chop = 羊
black pepper chicken chop = 黑鸡
chicken chop rice = 鸡饭
are easy to understand...

new look!

was browsing some unknown pple's blog....saw very nice n colourful template...suddenly found my blog a little too boring...
so went to browse for some cute and very-me skins/template to dl....

initially wanted something pink...but didnt find any to my liking...either way toooo pinky or to dull
went to browse some kiddo skins...soooo kawaii!! but not suitable for blogspot, cos i wanted something wif e side layout where i can put fotos of e things n pple i love =)

den i suddenly came across this ah-dang template!!! wahahahah...mai tu liao!!

but.....being an IT-idiot...i didnt know i can save my previous layout + template so tt juz in case i dun like my new skins, i still can switch it back.....

so after applying this new template, all my "extra things" all gone!! argh!!
had to redo all these right n left side thingy!! took soooo long =(
n i forgot wat were on my wish list according to perf....so i guess ive to come out wif a new one =P
i oso changed some of the fotos of the pple i love ;)

im super duper exhuasted n slpy today.....
bcos i have been "holding" 2 jobs everyday!

ive to help out at the stall until my mum finds a part time worker, cos we realised 4 pple is not enuf to handle e crowd at nite....
tt is y me n my cousin has been helping out frm 6pm - 12am daily since last thurs =(

e business is picking up slowly, which is good!

we need at least 6 pple to work at e stall in order to run smoothly...
dad - western food cook
worker - western food counter (preparation + serve)
mum - satay cook
bro - new stall cook
cousin - new stall counter (preparation + serve)
me - take orders on papers + coordinator + serve

but my cousin is gg aust to study next mth n i cant go down everyday....so my mum NEEDS another part time worker frm fri - sun, 5pm - 10pm (pls recommend if u do haf any frens/relatives who is interested).

cousin is "on leave" today...n tmr is my very-much-needed "off day"...
i need to spend some quality time wif dada~~

Opening Day

after weeks n weeks of planning, e stall is finally opened!

a very classy new coffeeshop we're at.
superly crowded...cos it's e 1st day of business...frens n relatives of all e stall holders went to support.
including my aunties, uncles, mh's frens, parents' regular/old customers & casin + fren. (Xie Xie!)

as my bro's side of stall is new, we r still not used to e settings and where to find wat....abit lost when i rch
luckily he had damian to help out....
mama employed 1 aunty to work for us...she has good memory when it comes to memorising customers (e new coffeeshop has got no table numbers!!) but abit garang gabo when setting up e plates/food....i guess we jus need to gif her some time to get used to our working style =)

will b heading down today again after work to help my little brother. *shagged*

Visit frm God Parents

A short visit frm my god parents on MY BDAY! =)

no...they did not plan to celebrate for me, they just happened to be in spore with their frens for a 1-day visit.

God father n 3 frens stayed at my hse when i returned home frm dblo aft my bday celebration...i was alrdy half gone-d but still had to minimise my noise level =P

woke up very early e next day...cos of e super-hot weather n hang over....

den went to fetch my god mum frm her sis place at bt batok wif god pa...n we were chatting in e car when on e way back...

suddenly god pa gave me a S$200 ang bao for my bday n late cny ang bao

(he used to gif RM$100, but he said bcos im a grown up le, cannot "bluff" me wif so little money liao)

...of cos i pushed it back...den kena scold by god ma...

she said pple gif u for good luck de, cannot push back....

so i paid for their lunch later tt day...

god pa knew dad when they were abt 16 yrs old...den both of em got their own gfs (god ma n mum) few yrs later...dad even had to ask god pa's permission/opinion of my mama b4 they were an item...LOL

abt 40 yrs of friendship....tt explains y we r always so close....

i love them!

Their Big Day

It's finally over....

i went thru ups n downs wif my cousin for this wedding...
some of u may know wat happened 2 mths ago when e groom suddenly backed out frm e wedding...it was devastating for her!
but yesterday...she was a pretty n happy bride =)

it's nt easy being a wedding planner...siong ah!
had to time the march-in song, coordinate with e AV guy...coordinate wif e floor manager on when to start e dinner, etc...organise the ROM site, make sure table and visitors chairs are placed at e distance where e march-in will nt b too short or too long... coordinate the tea ceremony, make sure function room is decorated e way we requested for...
everything n everybody oso come to me...
but den i had a great time la! good training for me haha

all relatives turned up and everything went thru smoothly...*giving myself a pat on e shoulder*
recommended my fren to b e photographer...n thax to me, my cous got a good deal! (cant disclose)

im so touched n delighted that i cried when they were reading their vows....mayb bcos i went thru so much wif them n i finally see them getting married....

Dblo - Eric's Bday + their bachelor n hen's nite

They are finally getting married....aft so many hurdles....

i helped to searched for rom package, choose gown, choose flowers....practically seeing thru everything....

TONITE will be their wedding! im so excited for em....=) i'll b their bridesmaid n mit will b e bestman hehe

brought my biao jie - veron, her husband - eric n eric's sis to dblo on sat (30may)

to celebrate his bday, to celebrate their last weekend as "not married" n to let them jian shi retro moves hahaha

and of cos i asked my frens to come along too...otherwise it'll b juz a few of us

It's a day when my company acknowledges its staffs' hard work n performances (some say "acting skills") by giving out awards and prizes.

Kinda boring...as u know, speeches will be given....not just 1...but 2 long speeches....till ah huat fell aslp hahaha

and i needed my fishermsn's friend to keep me awake

personally, i find the "zero mc" award winners very stupid...

we r entitled to 14days of mc each FY....make e best use of it la! it's our benefit leh!

and wat u get at e end of e day when u nv take mc??
