*deep...long...sigh*
early aug, had planned to go Malacca wif a few frens this weekend...however, no partners allowed...cos sometimes it's good to go out w/o ur partners wif u....n most of my frens shld know, dada has been following accompanying me everywhere i go
a couple of them married, n they haf already got permit frm their wives for this trip.
juz nice 5 of us in 1 car.....

BUT.....

dada abit unhappy tt i'll b gg wif 4 guys.....
he knows all of them n quite close even....
but i guess it's e guy-thingy tt he doesnt feel comfortable wif me gg...
but i really want to go~~~~
i trust them...n dada trusts them too....so wat's wrong??
i wun b sharing a room wif any of them....

i did put myself in his shoes in think....i may b unhappy too....uncomfortable too....
but...but.....but.....i really really wana go~~~~~~ =_(

Was "caged" at home for e past 4days bcos of my eye-infection =(
to make me feel even more depressed n moody...it's e time of e mth
played 4 days of yahoo games...watched 4 days of silly shows...bored!

last nite suddenly had craving for coffee bean's mud pie...brownie...any chocolate-ty stuff to comfort me
sweet potato will do too....i juz need sweet desserts~~~~

is it true tt chocolate/sweet snacks r comfort food?
i personally think so =) at least i feel slightly better juz by e thot of it haha

asked frank to get me a mud pie frm coffee bean n sweet potato soup for my lunch le! lol

Backlane

went to view a place with parents n bro last week....while waiting for e person-in-charge to arrive, we went to walk ard e surroundings to look look see see

bro saw filming taking place at e back lane...so i went to kpo too hehe

saw huang jun xiong (elvin) and dai yang tian...filming channel 8' new 800-episode series.
1st thot tt came to my mind was tt i wan a foto wif elvin!! lol...he's so cute =P

but aft filming, he went to helped ard wif some-duno-wat stuffs...n DYT walked towards us 1st....
mum: "Mr, can my daughter take a foto wif u?" (in chinese)
i was super paiseh lor!! cos i wan a foto wif elvin!! not him!!
he smile n nodded...so bo bian liao....

while taking foto wif DYT...elvin walked past us n went up to e media corp van!!
i missed him!! argh!! angry n disappointed....could only watch him frm afar =(

but anyway...i used e foto wif DYT to hao lian wif jiajia n val hahaha...cos both of them like him alot LOL

Rain....

was raining cats n dogs on Mon nite...
i stood by my room's window watching my fav sight...
rain was heavy, so were my eye lids...
watched for a couple of mins...den went to slp listening to my fav lullaby...

3rd day le...still having sore + red eye...initially was juz right eye...now left eye oso itchy le =(

(was so paiseh la! was pointing to my right eye, but said "left eye"...doc had to correct me =P)

wanted to take a foto of my blood shot big-small eyes...but my hp camera not good enuf to focus, so u guys r spared for the gruesome sight hehe

doc said it's contagious, so im locked in...cant go out, cant go to work...imagine if any of e Residents got it frm me....i'll kena complained liao...

spent another $158 on e "double sports pack" n e sports pack game c/w controller n an extra nunchuk!

me n dada spent almost 10 hours on e toy on Mon....having muscle-ache now lol
papa n didi played til almost 4am....they're having muscle-ache too wahaha

bought lunch for my family ytd after work...went bedok south to get the 1st season's "Qiang Tan Da Xing Dong" (e channel U show tt helped stall holder to revive their "dying" stall) Jap Food...
went there last yr wif bro, joanne n mit...but it was closed, since then we nv tried to go again...cos it's very far frm our home!

been having lunch at that hawker ever since i changed site...but nv bother to memorise the route =P
so had to arga arga find the way hehe
n i lost my way hahaha...made a turn too early, so turned here turned there n i ended up at bedok camp -.-"
stopped at a carpark...n took out my "best fren" - street directory =P

bought katsu don, chicken katsu don n salmon teriyaki for papa, mh n mum...n oso a packet of queued-up rojak. i had chicken katsu don n pork katsu don for mit...
total: $30
the portion of food was scary~~~2 big pieces of meat for pork n 1 fat juicy piece of meat for chicken!
we couldnt finish the jap food itself! had to force the rojak in....
overall: 3.5 out of 5
e meat itself abit tasteless, had to depend on the sauce to make it tasty
but e portion of meat compensated for it =)
rojak: 4.5 out of 5
it was good! not too sweet, sauce not too watery, sticky enuf to stick onto the ingredient nicely.
not too sour like other rojak...you tiao was crispy, very fresh ingredient!

started playing ard 1+am near 2am....
but papa played instead of mum!!

1st time playing wif papa....he was damn funny la.

mama made a cup of coffee for dad...n he zi mo for tt round
mum gave him a piece of cheese cake, n he zi mo again o.O
so we forbid mum to get anymore food for him *humph*

it was a slow game...cos papa was a beginner
but it was e 1st time i enjoyed a 4-hr game!
was hilarious n fun!
thought i lost....only hu 2 times throughout e whole game, cos i was greedy hahaha
but nvm la....paid $35 for a bonding time wif family =)

we haf another family outing tonite
will b gg either east coast or west coast for picnic n tenting =D
bought a 6-men tent recently, gona use it tonite!
but nt gg to stay overnite la....juz for e kick of tenting only hehe

juz made mango pudding n almond jelly for picnic tonite =)
will b ordering pizza later...parents gg to grill some chix wings n bake some potatoes

Verbal Diarrhea

i've not been lazy! in fact ive been trying to blog!
but somehow, my pc n blogger doesnt "click"...blogger doesnt give me the option to upload fotos, option to underline, bold or change my font!! n i sux wif html...which defeat e purpose to blog le...
but there's so much in my mind now, q-ing to be posted, so i better "transfer" them on blog 1st

2nd Anniversary
did my planning abt 2mths b4 our anniversary...had so much things in mind to surprise dada, but due to budget constrain, i could only do these much....:

thax to casin's suggestions, i booked a room at hotel81.
it may sound "cheap"...but it's not k!! cost me $179 for 2D1N stay at a room with courtyard with outdoor shower (sounds nice hor?).

dada totally had no idea wat i planned...only told him to pack 1 set of "going out" clothes + his hair wax n spray - he thot we're gg for a foto shot at some studio.

got him to send us to bugis...he made a few guesses while on e way...
eventually he said "u book hotel ah?"
me "ya lor..hotal81"
him "siao" (he thot i was joking)

i dropped at H81 den asked him to parked at the private carpark of H81 while i do the checking-in. he finally believed.

i went up to our room 1st while he was finding a carpark lot...
to b frank, i was quite disappointed wif the size of e room n courtyard....but wat can u expect frm H81? haiz...
i closed the curtain to prevent him frm seeing the courtyard as i wanted him to tink tt i silly-ly booked a normal room =P

i saw e disappointed face while he walked in....when he put down his stuffs, i open e curtain!
he was surprised! haha
he said while exploring the courtyard excitedly "i wan to bathe, i wan to bathe!"
me "now?!?!"
him "ya la!"

he thot i only booked for like a few hours...tt was y he was so eager to use the outdoor shower....hahaha duhz! y would i booked for juz a few hrs?!?

went for late lunch...den slpt frm 4pm - 6pm n went for our dinner appt at NYDC at 7pm.

aft dinner, we headed to vivo cos i booked tix for Happy Potter at 1130pm.
to cut e whole story short...
we went to the cinema at 1120pm wif popcorn n coke in his hands...
he said jokingly pointing to the Gold Class section on his left "go in leh" *cheeky face*
me "ok lor!" i opened e glass door to gold class
he played along n went in too
i handed our tix to e staff
he *shocked*

hahaha...ya, i booked tix for Gold Class!
e seats are spacious, comfy n comes wif a blanket too!
we were both excitedly messing wif e seat button =P
there's also a button to call on the waiter to serve u...but the F&B r not cheap, cost us $17.10 for a glass of Heogarden n orange juice.

well, that's e only 2 items i planned for dada...not very facinating, but it was a new experience for the both of us.

(dada bought me a longchamp bag to surprise me too! ^.^v)

MJ Competition
it's e 3rd time i went for the MJ competition organised by SAF yacht club at changi
brougth along kelvin n his frens...which made casin's grp to increased to abt 25 pple?
paid $20 for 3 rounds of MJ, lunch, green bean soup n chances to win lucky draw.

money is not involved in the games...we used chips (base: $400) n convert the chips into points aft each round. Top 5 will win some vouchers n only e Top 3 will get trophies.
there were abt 16 tables this time...which is 64pax.

1st rd: i won $550 = 550pts
2nd rd: won $840 = 840pts
sub-total: 1390pts

while playing the 3rd rd...casin msg me:
"look at the board. You're no. 1 now. Jiayou!"
i was delighted! but nervous too...cos my 3rd rd wasnt smooth...
my upper leg kept shooting to my lower leg...n e table of us didnt tok at all.
i was frustrated! n i kept losing...
so i told myself to calm down...n began singing very softly to myself
"ping chang xin" - by zhang hui mei...very cute of me LOL
survived the last rd by winning $474...which brought my total score to 1864.

i could hope tt e rest of the top players didnt win too much so tt i still can be among the top 5 =(

I CAME IN 3RD!!!
wahahaha, although it was a dropped in position, but hey! i was e 1st to be in the top 5 among our grp k!! LOL

casin won herself a lucky draw prize...
it was funny...
she repeatedly said "casin lim! casin lim! casin lim! casin lim!" when the host was announcing the lucky draw prize winners.
when it came to the last prize...he said "casin lim!"
hahah we were shocked to hear e name tt matched her words...n we clapped loudly for her! =D

she got a digital weighing machine! to me, it's a very handy n good prize...
but benson laughed VERY loudly...n said it hinted tt it's time his sis lose some weight lol
