Something Meaningful to Share

yesterday was e 3rd time i attended my company's Excellence day.
Always thot of it as a "see-pple-take-award" day....
alright alright, i shall reword it, Recognition Day.

This yr's excellence day was a lil different...they invited a speaker, Dr Andrew (forgot his surname).
A very interesting person...feel that his brain contains sooooo much information n he thinks fast!
he was invited to motivate us and teach us some 道理. I was really inspired by these following:-

Part 1

He asked a grp of kindergarden children, parents and grandparents at a kindergarden graduation,
"How does a caterpillar cross the river?"
(think about it too!)
Parents "impossible"
Grandparents "haha, my grandchildren will know"

Kids "caterpillar crosses the river when it turns into a butterfly!"

see....it's so simple!
everyone of us know tt caterpillar doesnt die as a caterpillar....it transformed into a butterfly...and it will die as a beautiful butterfly....

sometimes, things r not so difficult or complicated as they seem to be....
we will not forever be wat we r.....we change as we grow.....and we will passed on as a different and better person


Part 2

we r always complaining about how little we r being paid to work.
or we may even say "they pay me how much, i work how much lor"
(sounds familiar?)

who doesnt wan to be paid 100% and work only 50% (or lesser)??
our bosses can!! (i mean higher positions like directors CEOs, not necessarily be ur company owner)

but they paid "subcription" before they can earn 100000% and work 50%!
they too, worked hard before....they too, been thru the process of working 200% n earned 50%.

try telling a fan (风扇) "gif me wind and ill gif u electricity"
u haf to gif a fan electricity b4 it can gif u wind!
so we haf to work and "pay the subcription" before we r being "paid more work less"

let's pay the subcription together! ^.^


Part 3

one day a very depressed man went to a very famous speaker to ask for advise

depressed man "i cant do well in anything....im a born-loser and i wan to commit suicide"

speaker gave it a thot n said "young man, do u know that u were once a tiny little sperm?"

depressed man "huh"

speaker "u were borned as a sperm......and once u were borned, u started fighting!"
"fighting for an EGG!" (鸡蛋 = 零 = nothing)
"there were 5million other sperms fighting with u over that single egg!"
"and guessed wat?? U WON!"
"that made u here standing right infront of me"
"so young man.....u are not a born-loser, but instead, u were borned because u r a winner!!"

this is my favourite......nobody is a born-loser....
all of us r borned bcos we r THE winner.

3yr Anniversay - Surprise Holiday, Macau

wa lao....it took me more thana week to sort out the fotos, grp them together, upload n do up this post!

planned a surprise holiday for da as our 3yr anniversary present

started e planning last yr dec...

had a tough time keeping it frm him lol

thanks those who helped to keep it frm him =)

i ♥ packing luggage for holiday!!!

flight delayed...changed frm 10.10pm to 11.35pm (boarded at 12.10am)
changed boarding gate too....made us rush-walked so fast. in e end sat there n wait

flight was not full, we had 3 seats to ourselves! songz!!

this guy even songz-er!! 3 seats to himself!

expensive food...but we were hungry~~

cool cool weather @ macau!

da was so funny la....tried to speak cantonese, but failed =X

our room... ^.^

at least can see da in e room while bathing...scared to b alone in bathroom

watched too many horror movies lol

i gave up my share for da...cos i tink he will look nicer in those la

their menu is so thick tt we didnt know wat to choose

coke w/o ice...yucks!

i ordered curry chicken - tasted like spicy japanese curry

da ordered duno wat chicken la, he juz pointed tt he wans "that" frm e next table

- tasted like hk style baked rice

and i ordered the must-have pork bun!! yummy n juicy!!!!

unlike spore's, we had to sit in a car-like thingy n put on safety bar

the car thingy was actually turn 180 degree!!

meaning we had to shoot 2 screens!! fun!!

but i tink bcos of the sudden turning, i had 2 lines of blue blacks on my small thighs

nothing fantastic though...except for e dessert =)

instead of gg back to hotel, we went to wynn casino instead hehe

Day 2

cab was our only mode of transport there haha

cheap for the 1st 1.6km only...S$2.32

macau is so small that most of the places r less than 1.6kn, unless we're crossing the bridge

kuku bird...lol

the famous sky ceiling....very beautiful

the "venice river" within the mall...

nothing much at the shopping centre la...

it's huge!! but sells branded goods only...

i tink first world hotel tries to imitate this...but this is SOOO much better!!

this has real human rowing the boat...hahaha

macdonald's lunch

yummy grilled chix burger, juicy mcspicy n sussage mcmuffin w/ egg at lunch time!

the honey bbq shaker fries is good too!

we're nt a fan of man u....but well, since we're there, juz take some fotos lor
