Kite Flying Day with Papa

spent quality time wif papa n da again =)

e nite b4, played MJ wif parent til 5am...

woke up for late lunch

weather was good! so this time we went kite flying for our sunday outing

it's a sunny sunny day...

many many pple...great to see families spending time together

i remember gg kite flying wif parents since young, but i nv learned his skills haha
he used to bring me out wif him to make "glass strings"

glass string:

1. smash some glasses

2. dip string into glue

3. apply to smashed glasses onto the string (with gloves!)

4. leave it to dry by hanging

glass strings were used commonly (back then) to cut other pple's kites by purposely flying past thru them.

nowadays we dun see those le.....so unfriendly haha n oso bcos kites are more expensive now haha

they're kpo-ing kite of visitors from msia

bcos da's eagle accidentally crossed their kite's path n made their kite fell!

they tried so many time to put it up again but couldnt haha

da n papa felt bad...so helped them to do some adjustment

da bringing e kids to higher ground while papa holding the kite for them
1 try n the kite went up!!

being a filial grand daughter, bought 1 packet for grandma n delivered to her hse =)

she stays nearby la...=P
